My parents just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. This is an amazing accomplishment in this day and age. They are in amazing good health, my father is 88 and my mother 80, but they look awesome. We had a lovely champagne cocktail party for them in my home. My sister Victoria flew in from Nevada and my brother Ron and sister Viviane were able to be here too.

My parents cutting their cake 60 years later....beautiful. I have wonderful parents whom I love so very much.
These are great photos. Congratulations to your parents. You are right that nowadays this rarely happens. 60 years is a lifetime so to speak. We will be going on 30 years in a year and I know I won't be alive 30 years from now so no 60 years for us unfortunately. How sad that we only have the one life and we BETTER do the things that we are supposed to do or there will never be another chance. Have a great Wednesday.
