A few weeks ago, I took a class in the home of the very fun and talented Katherine England in Fullerton. I have taken a couple of classes with her in the past, the first one being the class I had with her up in Washington at Artfest. I have wanted to take this garden sculpture class for awhile, so I was happy she offered it on a weekend. You start with a foam base, put nylon mesh on it and then cement over that. Wha-la! A garden sculpture! My course mine was a dog and this weekend I will start putting glass to it! This hobby is addicting!
